Diaphragm seal can protect the measuring instrument from corrosive, viscous, crystalline, corrosive, highly viscous, environmentally harmful or toxic medium damage. The diaphragm separates the measuring instrument from the measured medium.
The pressure is transmitted to the measuring instrument through the filling liquid inside the diaphragm sealing system.
We can provide different designs and materials of diaphragm seal and system filling fluid to meet the application requirements of different customers.

Type 990.49 diaphragm seal is designed for screwing into threaded flange. With its special extended design, the diaphragm seal is suitable for thick wall or isolated pipes or vessels.
Diaphragm seal and measuring instrument can be assembled directly, and for high-pressure application, they can be assembled by cooling element or flexible capillary.
For this model, Wika provides a special alloy steel mainly used in the fertilizer industry.
